We had a great conversation last night, and @JoeYevoli is absolutely dead on with this clip. The quote is so right. I’m yet to read The Alchemist, but I will reference a classic quote from Atlas Shrugged:
“I swear by my life and my love of it that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.”
Make a choice about your life and pursue it endlessly, and passionately.
Last line pretty much sums this whole clip up for me. ”We are who we choose to be.”
Reece and I started talking a little bit about things like this last night during our walk home from NY Tech Meetup. The world is what you make of it. It reminded me of this clip I saw a long time ago, and even if you don’t like Will Smith (or think this might be a little cheesy), you gotta respect what he’s saying here.
