Having lived in LA, I can definitely say it’s a weird place, but it has its moments.  This is a decent showing…

Maybe this is old, but Angelinos, this is wonderful. Truly. LA has a strange kind of beauty that you often have to look hard (or contextualize hard) to find. It’s not readily evident. But when you find it, the revelation that Los Angeles - a city often written off as too big, too sprawling, too superficial - is one of the most strangely beautiful cities in the world, it’s pretty staggering. via bbook.
