I’ve been an athlete my whole life. For a while, I didn’t like to identify as an athlete - more specifically, as a jock/lacrosse player - but it’s hard to ignore the impact my athletic career has had on my life.

Through my sports career I’ve started a business, made amazing friendships, and learned more about hard work, discipline and sportsmanship than anywhere else.

I can’t rattle off stats of famous athletes. Hell, I can barely remember my own games… but when it comes down to it, I love to play.

When an athlete is in the zone, acting and reacting on instinct, it’s called “flow.”   Sports have always been that way for me. I’ve played every sport there is, but first it was hockey, then lacrosse, surfing, snowboarding, and now running races and triathlons.

I know I’ll never win the Falmouth Road Race, but there’s no greater feeling than challenging yourself - mentally and physically - and rising above even your own expectations.
