@JoeYevoli's Thanksgiving
Me: How was your Thanksgiving?
Joe: Great... I threw up.
Me: What? Why?
Joe: I think I just ate too fast, so I threw up. But the food was phenomenal...
...I'd do it again.

A run with @bfeld
I had the great opportunity to go for a run with Brad Feld this morning. I’ll post more on this later, but he was kind enough to give HomeField a shout-out on his blog and I wanted to share it.
“…Well – they are all in my browser this morning after I returned from my run with Reece Pacheco of Overtime Media. And in case you are wondering, Reece is an ex-lacrosse star who is...

Brown Lacrosse Compliment
We’ve started partnering with a few other sports/lacrosse communities online - in particular LacrosseAllstars.com - and so far the relationship has been fantastic. You’ll hear a lot more about this partnership in the coming months, but yesterday I had a conference call with a student-athlete at Brown and one of the guys from LacrosseAllstars who followed up with this:
“So far it...

My Reason For the Stache
@joeyevoli:
Anyone who knew me before I was 23, knew that my Dad and I had an undeniable bond. I would never admit this to his face, but he was my idol in everything. He was my living example, and I wanted nothing more than to have my life turn out exactly like his.
He would probably never admit this to my face, but he absolutely lived his life 100% in devotion to me (as he did with all his...

Re: @LaxAllStars post "Where's the Love?"
I left this comment on a recent LacrosseAllstars.com post discussing the reputation of lacrosse around the sports community.
“There has been a ton of damage to the reputation of lacrosse over the years - starting with its appropriation from the Native Americans, its niche community hold in prep schools and the Ivy League giving it that snotty air (which is still healthy with that horrible...

That’s the idea. Increase efficiency through transparency.
– A pithy comment from @FredWilson this morning on his blog avc.com. I try hard to practice this approach both in business and everyday life. You save a lot of time by cutting through the B.S.

Exit Strategy
I like @bijan’s line of thinking here. Sure, it’s nice to think about the end goal, but you need to get in the game first. To use another war reference, this one from WWII - ‘We can’t save Paris if we don’t take Normandy first.’
The point is, unless you create something of value, there is no exit.
P.S. - I believe that WWII reference is from Crossing the...
